Dad With 240+ Tattoos Called a “Monster”—But Wait Until You See What He Looked Like Before
A father with hundreds of tattoos has faced comments from strangers who judged him because of his appearance. Some people called him a “monster” or said he could not be a good father.
But his appearance tells only part of his story.
The father has more than 240 tattoos covering most of his body. He started getting tattoos at 17, and what began with a few designs became a major part of his life. He has tattooed his children’s names and meaningful designs on his body.
Despite the criticism, he says his tattoos have never stopped him from being a parent. He takes part in school activities, attends his children’s events, and makes time for his family.
His wife admitted that she initially judged him because of his appearance. After getting to know him, however, she discovered that he was kind, loving, and devoted to his family.
Some children at his kids’ school have described him as scary because of his tattooed face. His daughter, however, has defended him and told others that her father is a good person.
He does not believe tattoos make someone a bad parent. For him, the ink is personal expression, while his family remains the most important part of his life.
Photos from before he became tattooed have also surprised people because they show a different version of him.
The heavily tattooed father is Richard Huff, a dad of seven who says people should get to know someone before judging them by appearance.
